Their branch at Malta International Airport is open Mon-Sun and Holidays 07.00-24.00 There are public call boxes all over the islands, some are coin boxes, but the majority are card phones with cards available from Maltacom branches, Post Offices, Bank Branches and numerous retail outlets displaying the Telecard sign. Malta Country Code: 356 Cellular Communications Go Mobile Vodafone Malta Time Malta is on central European Time (CET), that is one hour ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) in winter and two hours from the last Sunday in March until the last Sunday in September. The 13 amp, three-pin rectangular sockets are used in Malta. Transport Getting to Gozo is only a 25 minute ferry trip from Malta's northernmost tip, during which you sail past Comino. Getting to Comino - There is a regular boat service to Comino from Malta and Gozo operated between mid-March and mid-November. Public Holidays On all public holidays, all shops in Malta and Gozo are closed except for bars and restaurants, pharmacies on roster basis and petrol stations automated only.
